 The England and Wales YCW movement are hosting the International Coordination of the Young Christian Workers 8th International Congress at Alton Castle Youth Retreat Centre in Staffordshire in August 2012. YCW leaders from across the world will come to the UK to take part in training session, workshops and share experiences from their home movements.

 Saturday 26th November saw Impact groups from across the country travelling to Derby for National Impact Day 2011. With the theme ‘Worth More than Gold', young people got to see Impact on a national level. The day also involved a training event for adult companions and chaplains of both Impact and YCW, giving them an opportunity to come together to reflect and learn more about their important role.

 Friday 18th to Sunday 20th November saw seven key leaders from YCW groups across the country came together for a weekend of training and workshops in Ludlow. The weekend was an opportunity for the key leaders to share experiences from their groups, discuss and gain new ideas to take back to their groups, and how to personally (and as a movement) contribute to International Congress.
